#Hallowed be thy name scripture full

We ask that we would live in such a way that we do not dishonor His holy name and drag it down with us into the mud of sin. In this petition, we ask God to let all we think, say and do bring glory and honor to His holy name. We ask that His name be kept holy among us and in our lives. What then do we ask of the LORD God when we ask that His name be kept holy? We might ask, вЂњIsnвЂ™t GodвЂ™s name already holy?вЂќ And, most certainly it is. Hallowed means to keep holy and set apart. вЂњIn this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.вЂќ Matthew 6:9ДЄnd what should be our first request, as Jesus here teaches us to pray? вЂњHallowed be Your name.вЂќ 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.вЂќ Amen.вЂќДЎ4 вЂњFor if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.ДЇor Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. вЂњ9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.вЂќ For they think that they will be heard for their many words. 7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. 20 Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!ДҐ вЂњAnd when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites.
